We do not order specific uniforms for medical staff.  However there is a small selection of navy flight overalls and flight jackets kept at Garden City Helicopters should you wish to use them.  Please return them after each use, as there is a limited number to be shared by all.

For retrievals done by helicopter, it is mandatory to wear the overalls.  However for flight by fixed wing aircraft, your own clothing may be worn.

Please remember that all clothing must reflect a professional appearance and be suitable for the environment – multi layered, natural fibres, nothing loose or flowing, fully enclosed flat shoes or boots.  A jacket, warm clothing and sunglasses should be taken at all times of the year.

IMPORTANT:  please ensure when coming to work in ICU that you do have suitable clothing and footwear with you.  Scrubs, crocs, jandals etc are not suitable attire and the pilots may refuse to allow you to fly.
