The Rangiora Health Hub was officially opened by Health Minister Dr Jonathan Coleman on 28 October 2015.
Rangiora Health Hub services include a high quality maternity unit and a wide range of outpatient and specialist services for people who need time for recuperation or ongoing monitoring in North Canterbury. The existing Rangiora Hospital buildings continue to house a range of community services.

Facilities at Rangiora Health Hub
The facility consists of 4 assessment rooms, 3 large birthing rooms (2 with birthing pools), up to 10 postnatal rooms, 4 general convalescent beds, a commercial kitchen and staff area.
