Car Parking

​​There is ample parking for Health Hub patients and visitors on left and right of the entrance to main reception.

Parking for women in labour

Follow the signs for the birthing unit entrance by driving around the back of the old Rangiora Hospital Building. You can park in the parking spaces allocated in this area.

Transport Options

​There is a bus stop at 161 Ashley Street Entrance for the Blue Line Bus service to Christchurch and Kaiapoi.

About Rangiora Health Hub

Rangiora Health Hub openingThe Rangiora Health Hub was officially opened by Health Minister Dr Jonathan Coleman on 28 October 2015.

Rangiora Health Hub services include a high quality maternity unit and a wide range of outpatient and specialist services for people who need time for recuperation or ongoing monitoring in North Canterbury. The existing Rangiora Hospital buildings continue to house a range of community services.

Facilities at Rangiora Health Hub 

The facility consists of 4 assessment rooms, 3 large birthing rooms (2 with birthing pools), up to 10 postnatal rooms, 4 general convalescent beds, a commercial kitchen and staff area.
