About Darfield Hospital
Darfield Hospital is located in Selwyn District, approximately 40 minutes drive from Christchurch city centre. It provides birthing and postnatal services located within a rural community hospital. The maternity unit includes two maternity rooms; one a birthing room with a birthing bath and double bed, the second, a single room with a large bathroom with a shower and toilet. There is also a visitors' toilet.
