The Human Milk Bank within the Neonatal Unit are holding a series of Community Open Days where interested people, especially mothers, are invited to learn about what a Human Milk Bank is and how it serves the community.
There will be two sessions starting on the hour at 10 am and 11am
Each session will last between 30 – 45 minutes
There will be a talk about the Human Milk Bank and a look at the milk bank itself.
Any mothers wishing to become donors are invited to leave their names in the book provided. The Milk Bank Manager will be in touch at a more convenient time.
Attendance places are strictly limited to minimize exposing the babies within the Neonatal Unit to colds and flu especially at this time of the year.
We would ask that if anyone has a cold or is unwell please keep warm at home, more Open Days will be organised later in the year.
