Keep active

Exercise is a proven pick-me-up. Even a little bit helps a lot.

Physical activity helps you:

  • Feel great, gives you more energy, and improves your mood

  • Have fun with friends or family, or spend some time on yourself

Active people are less likely to develop cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis, have a stroke or get certain types of cancers, such as colon and breast cancer.

Children should be active for at least 60 minutes a day. Physical activity helps their mental and physical development, building strong bones and muscles.

Obesity rates in kids are higher than ever before and children who exercise are less likely to become overweight. Physical activity will also help them to sleep better and is  good for reducing their stress and anxiety levels.
